Terms & Conditions of Business


Purchases
All purchases from Bead and Stone are made to order and the time estimate to make and ship each piece, will be listed clearly alongside the product description in our Etsy shop.
 
Payment Methods
All Bead and Stone transactions are handled through www.etsy.com where our online shop is hosted. You will be asked to register with Etsy, in order to shop with them. Registration is a simple process. We accept payments via PayPal; either using payment with a PayPal account or payments from most major credit and debit cards. All transactions will be taken in Pounds Sterling. Payment for your purchases will be handled directly by PayPal on a secure server using encryption and subject to Paypal terms and conditions.
 
When ordering goods from us for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches its specific destination. Any additional charges for customer clearance are the responsibility of the customer.
 
Gift Wrapping
All jewellery purchased will come in a complimentary gift box. Jewellery over £250.00 in value will be supplied in a luxury gift box, designed to store your jewellery when not being worn.
 
How will I know that my order was accepted?
When you place an order to purchase a product through our online Etsy store, you will receive communications, from me via Etsy. You will receive confirmation of order emails and further communications detailing your purchase’s dispatch and also how to contact me regarding your order through Etsy.
 
Shipping
Your order will only be shipped after all data, including credit card information, has been authorised. In order to process your order, the cardholder’s name must match the name of the billing address, and the billing address must match that of the purchasing card.
 
Postage and Packaging
 
UK Deliveries
All purchases will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by courier, which must be signed for.
 
Overseas Deliveries
All purchases will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For Service or by courier. In some cases special courier services may need to be used for overseas deliveries and additional costs may need to be incurred, if this is the case Bead & Stone Limited will inform you before confirming your order.
 
Full valid post-codes are required for every order, we will not send any order without one. If you provide an incorrect address, including the postcode, we do not accept any responsibility for the failure of an order to arrive.
 
Prices and Product Details
All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling.
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time.
Bead and Stone Limited reserves the right to make changes to the web site including prices, products and terms and conditions without notice.
 
Damage and Tracing Parcels
In the event that your goods are damaged in transit, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. If you fail to do so, or if goods have been signed for as received in good condition we will not be able to offer a refund.
 
If products are not delivered please contact us for details of the tracking and tracing procedure.
If orders are considered by us to be lost in transit after a reasonable period of time has elapsed, we shall at our discretion either refund or resend the order.
 
Returns Policy

All Bead and Stone Jewellery is made to order
Unfortunately returns are not accepted unless a fault is discovered. As items are custom made for you we would not expect to be able to resell them to someone else, in the event you simply change your mind - so please be sure of your order before you purchase!  If accepted, we will provide you with all the details you need to return your jewellery. We will of course work with you to adjust your piece to ensure a perfect fit, if for example you find that a ring is too small or too big or a necklace length too long. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
 
Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event you discover a fault with your order – please email for authorisation to return or replace, clearly stating your order number, details of the fault and full contact information, including name, address and a contact telephone number. All international custom duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for the purpose of return shipments but we will cover the cost of your return postage costs.
